Cool but "buggy"

This app has some bugs (pun intended) that need to be fixed...1. How do you get a high enough score to reach scholar rank and open up the next area? I found all the bugs and one hidden area in each of the first five levels but only reached scholar in two, so could not move on. 2. Then I tried manually changing the weather to see if that was the problem, which it wasnt, and then the option to change the weather/time disappeared and I could not change it back and had to reinstall and start over. Is time a factor in your rank? If so, that is not clear. So I have just played these five levels like 5 times each and cant open up the next area. Frustrating! 3. As others said, what do you do with the clues? That is confusing. I collected them but cant find a way to use them. Please fix these issues and this will be a 5 star app. Loved spider 1.

Update: after the app update it seems that it is impossible to get scholar rank at all. This game is really frustrating. You need to make it possible to advance to the next location!
