Beautiful but annoying

Love the graphics and catching bugs to open portals is a blast. However having to solve the mystery to move on is annoying as you have to wait for the weather or light cycle to change before you can collect all the clues. It ruins the whole flow of the game. If you could manually change this it would be great but all you can do is wait for another day to play.
